Smartlink collaboration
For the readers information also,
we are currently making an effort to collaborate with the well known reward-card company, Smartlink --> www.smartlink2u.com
Hopefully with this, the students would gain more comforts, security and rewards just by using this ucard....

Introduction
'uCard'~ as unique as its name, this card acts as a discount card or privilege card for the students especially University students to help them in cutting down their monthly expenses.
Currently, we managed to found and implement this project around Bandar Seri Iskandar and Tronoh where all the UTP and UiTM Seri Iskandar students concentrated at.
This project works by providing mutual benefits between the selected outlets and also the cardholders; the students. When a cardholder go and purchase merchandises from the outlets who agreed to joined this project; currently *20 around Bandar U in Seri Iskandar and within UTP itself (*to be update from time to time, and the list of outlets will be informed soon)
Just by flashing the card, either bar code/swipe system, the cardholder will enjoy the benefits promised by the particular outlets as stated in the agreement. Some of the example of the benefits provided by the outlets would be in terms of discount, souvenirs, and also reward points which the cardholders can claim and 'cash' them when they collected a certain amount of points.
This project acts as a platform for businesses and students to create a win-win situation between them.
Students/cardholders will enjoy benefits provided by the outlets while at the same time the outlets will gain more promotion and publicity from the effort of uteam in promoting them. Through this mechanism, the outlets will eventually managed to attract more customers especially among the students to come to their kiosks/ shops. This will increase their Income and Profit - primary goal of most of the kiosks and businesses.
For now, we, from uteam UTP are trying to widen our coverage within UTP campus itself and we're looking forward to obtain some help from other universities/colleges to aid us in this project so that together we can ensure the success of the implementation of this system around Malaysia, insyaAllah.
We're looking forward to widen our coverage to UiTM Seri Iskandar and other universities within the next few months.
